A hadron torpedo is an explosive weapon designed to inflict damage to ships traveling with skew drive.  They are typically 2-3 meters in length and blue-black when in their casings prior to firing.  Once fired, they appear as brilliant, purple-white, spiky spheroids due to their enveloping corona of mezzospatial plasma.
